It won't be so hard to beat for people more experienced, I think :).Asmohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02555809677595527426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4806473340154144291.post-66885002502327531732010-02-22T21:06:31.296-05:002010-02-22T21:06:31.296-05:00Your necron list looks like fun I think.

I would need to really shut down your movement as within 2-3 turns you have a horde of tanks on top of me throwing flame template and dropping melta troops up close. I'd be stalled with my manouevring as well because your army has the ability to swarm me and pin me into the board edges, where I get flamed out.

Maybe we can play this list at Dream Wizards sometime. I'd love to have a try against it.Pete Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10662176026555380093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4806473340154144291.post-6399799062712358732010-02-22T19:30:22.726-05:002010-02-22T19:30:22.726-05:00Well. I ran them pretty standard for a while... but you'll just have to see, hahaha.

The Deceiver is definitely interesting, I'll say that. Some serious potential.

And yeah- I can see this list having some major issues. Especially against Tau- your troops basic weapon stand a chance of immobilizing me, which just slows the burning. After that, T3 means my ladies are going to start dropping. It's more scary than good, I think, but I'll have to see. I've played Sisters too many times without focus. It'll be interesting to see how it works with a set goal as above.

Also, will be posting the Necron list shortly. It's pretty bad, haha, but you'll see.Asmohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02555809677595527426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4806473340154144291.post-23253879094287773802010-02-22T17:12:26.203-05:002010-02-22T17:12:26.203-05:00I would love to field a necron army so I'm int...I would love to field a necron army so I'm interested to see your list. I would probably go for the cheap option of two battleforces and a lord, though the deceiver does make me feel all evil for fielding a god :-)

I think that fighting this list would be a trick in prioritised firepower and movement blocking. With some clever moving, shooting and use of terrain it might be possible to keep your immolators locked down behind their immobilised friends or to head them off with my own vehicles. Tau would do quite nicely with this as our skimmers could then make a break for it over the terrain and play the moving game.

Still a badass list though.Pete Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10662176026555380093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4806473340154144291.post-4923590318244099642010-02-22T15:30:36.015-05:002010-02-22T15:30:36.015-05:00Lol, Vulkan would be too much, I think!

It certainly would make some people nervous.

Still, this is probably the strongest 40K list I would field- wait until you see what I've been running with my Necrons ;).Asmohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02555809677595527426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4806473340154144291.post-50986575374457836312010-02-22T15:24:47.330-05:002010-02-22T15:24:47.330-05:00Wow, 13 light armoured vehicles in 2000 pts. I'...Wow, 13 light armoured vehicles in 2000 pts. I'm not sure how I would handle that kind of mech overload, especially when it is coming at me wanting to burn stuff up badly. I think I'd have to spend out on more Deathrains and Railguns to be sure of slowing down that kind of attack. If I could open the transports then I feel I could do alright against your lower numbers but that is still a lot of armour to crack.

Wow, so much flame and melta death in that list. Now all you need to do is to add Vulkan as an ally and then your opponent can truly cry cheese!

PetePete Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10662176026555380093noreply@blogger.com
