Here's the link to the video.
I mean, rumors on the internet are that Games Workshop is re-doing their line of paints, and presumably 145 is the number of paints. But... seriously? The video tells us nothing (it's just the number 145). A video on a line of paints is certainly better than nothing (and better than GW has done in the past), but given the efforts their competitors have put up as video teasers (say, the Privateer Press Colossal video?), this felt really weak.
Ah well, just noticed it, and it surprised me enough that I had to mention it.
I saw it too and it wasn't interesting at all. I got more info from the leaks around the internet.
ReplyDeleteAs you say, when you compare it to the Colossals video that Privateer Press produced, which has people salivating about the models even if they don't play, it comes off very poorly.
Still, I look forward to seeing what GW produce as their products are usually good quality, though not always priced so nicely.
Yeah, I do like their paint line, so I would like to see what they end up doing.
ReplyDeleteI suppose the good news is that GW is TRYING to use multimedia to engage their fans at least? :)
I suppose so. If it's true that New Line Cinema have them locked down with respect to information leaks then perhaps we'll see a leaner and improved Games Workshop marketing machine after the films come out.
ReplyDeleteI quite like GW paints though the new pots aren't so nice. I'm a bit fan of the P3 line in the old school flip top lid pots.
